Wonderful workshop for pelvic health and strength in menopause this weekend. Sharing with Leila Holmes , women’s health physio, VHK women’s health clinic and our clients who attended.
We focused on holistic care and nourishment of the whole menopause journey and what we can do to create emotional and physical support.
I run a weekly menopause support yoga group as well as other healing classes , workshops and collaborations throughout the year .
Thank you everyone who attended for the lovely positive energy; menopause is a journey we can navigate with grace, humour and nourishing support .

For your diaries, the following dates are not available for Saturday classes in 2022:

Saturday 10th September

A HUGE THANK YOU, to everyone who attended the event in person on Saturday 23rd July, it was fantastic to see so many people again.
We had a wonderful session on compassion, Karma Yoga and giving freely of ourselves; opening our hearts to ourselves and to those in need.

THANK YOU also to those who could not attend in person but made a donation.

WE MADE A WHOPPING £ 1,378.58 !!!!!!!!

All of this goes directly to the Basement Project Charity, the money we have raised we have chosen to fund a counsellor for young people in crisis. This amount will fund 40 COUNSELLING SESSIONS, which is immensely satisfying and supports our mission statement to support those who are vulnerable in the world.

When we give of ourselves freely, we open our hearts, we always receive more in return.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED LOVE, SUPPORT AND WONDERFUL ENERGY.

This year’s theme was healing ourselves, our communities, our planet. We focused on the Koshas, the Gunas and the Granthis. How we can identify where we need to release within our bodies , minds and also what we need to bring in.

The group came together in yoga, mantra, meditation, yoga nidra and discussion of the themes. We also brought in healing Art meditation with Pam, our fantastic art teacher guiding us with techniques and new ways of approaching our art.

Saturday evening was a magical kirtan with Rajesh and Upasana, leading us in classical mantra, even a little latin; all coming together in song, chant and music. Bhakti yoga in its purest form from Rajesh.

On Sunday morning Andrew led us in to the healing art of listening and healing with his music and piano playing.

Hearts and minds open to the sounds, it was so beautiful.

This year was incredibly special, perhaps because of the difficulties of the last 2 years.

Spending time on a yoga retreat is a wonderful way to step outside your normal daily activities; immersing yourself in the practises, the silence, the nature, the delicious nourishing food and the company of like minded people.

It feeds your soul, takes you to a deeper part of your practise and leaves you feeling healed and refreshed.
